A little bit about me.

Born and raised in Portland, Oregon, I’ve always been drawn to understanding people and the deeper questions of meaning and connection. I studied sociology and philosophy at the University of Oregon, later earning my master’s in applied psychological science from Pacific University. I've worked in a wide variety of settings, including with adolescents in the juvenile justice
system, with children and families in community mental health, and most recently with
adults in a small-group practice specializing in EMDR.

My perspective is, in part, shaped by a love of travel. I’ve visited over 20 countries as an adult and am currently looking forward to planning a trip to Seoul, South Korea. Outside of my work, I find balance through yoga, backpacking, and exploring creativity through clay sculpting. I’m also continually inspired by books like Crying in H-Mart and Maybe You Should Talk to Someone, which reflect the kind of honesty, vulnerability, and compassion I value in life and the therapeutic space.

I'm here to help you navigate your journey.

If you're seeking support through EMDR therapy, I offer a grounded, trauma-informed space to help you process what feels stuck, reduce emotional triggers, and move toward greater calm, clarity, and self-trust. This work can support you in feeling more present in your relationships, more regulated in your emotions, and less defined by the weight of past experiences. With EMDR, you can learn to break free from old patterns, emotional overwhelm, and the feeling of being 'stuck in your head' or on edge. Over time, it can help reduce avoidance, reactivity, and the sense of being hijacked by memories or stress responses that no longer fit your present life. To get started, check out the services page. I offer individual and group therapy sessions, intensive EMDR sessions as well as a unique team processing option using EMDR for groups.
